Biography

Roderic Casali, Ph.D., (University of California) has been a member of Wycliffe Bible Translators since 1983. He and his wife worked with the Ghana Institute of Linguistics, Literacy and Bible Translation (GILLBT) in the late 1980's, carrying out linguistic research and literacy work with the Nawuri people of eastern Ghana. He has also served as Linguistics Coordinator for GILLBT (1987-1991, 1997-2000) and as Africa Are Linguistics Coordinator (1996-2004) and an International Linguistics Consultant (2000-2007) for SIL International. He has taught workshops and seminars on phonetics and phonology in Africa and has published one book and a variety of articles in these subject areas.
