Biography

ACTS Librarian, B.A., M.L.S., University of British Columbia; M.Div., M.Th., Northwest Baptist Seminary. William Badke has been librarian and associate professor at ACTS since its beginning. He has created an innovative research training program to supplement the reference service he provides in the library. His book, Research Strategies: Finding your Way through the Information Fog (3rd edition 2008), is in use in seminaries and universities throughout North America. Mr. Badke is also the author of a Christian mystery series produced by Multnomah Publishing, an academic handbook for international students, and a book on the environmental crisis. His book, explaining the narrative of Scripture to Postmoderns, is The Hitchhikers Guide to the Meaning of Everything (Kregel Publications, November 2005). He is a contracted columnist for Online Magazine, an American trade journal for information professionals.
