Biography
Diploma, Prairie Bible Institute; M.A., Ph.D., University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Walrod has served as Associate Director of Academic Affairs of the Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL) in the Philippines and is currently a SIL International Linguistics Consultant and a member of the Board of Directors of Wycliffe Bible Translators of Canada. He has authored two books on Discourse Analysis, as well as many other articles and magazines columns on linguistics and cross-cultural work. He has also produced many books, including come Scripture translation in the Ga dang language of the northern Philippines where he worked for seventeen years.
