Occasional Student
Occasional Student status is designed for individuals who want to study at ACTS on a course-by-course basis. If you are looking for professional development opportunities, exploring a topic of special interest, or just trying seminary education for personal growth, this status allows you to get into the classroom without a lengthy application process.

Occasional students may take a maximum of 12 credit hours. After this point, occasional students will need to apply to a degree or diploma program to continue their study.

Visiting Student
Visiting Student status allows an individual who is registered at another graduate theological institution to take courses at ACTS. To study as a Visiting Student, you must complete the Quick Application and provide a Letter of Permission from the institution where you are enrolled. This letter should indicate the course(s) you wish to take and confirm your current academic standing in your home institution.
