Hermeneutics in Context Conference


ACTS Seminaries and the Canadian Evangelical Theological Association welcome you to CETA’s Fall Theology Conference, Hermeneutics in Context.

The 2016 Fall conference will be held at ACTS Seminaries, located on Trinity Western University’s campus on Saturday, October 15, 2016.

The plenary speaker will be Iain Provan, Marshall Sheppard Professor of Biblical Studies at Regent College, in Vancouver, BC. Dr. Provan’s book Seriously Dangerous Religion: What the Old Testament Really Says and Why It Matters (Baylor, 2014) won the 2016 R.B.Y. Scott Book Award at the Canadian Society of Biblical Studies.

The Canadian Evangelical Theological Association (CETA) seeks to provide a forum for scholarly contributions to the renewal of theology and the church in Canada. Members include interested academics, pastors, and lay people (and you don’t have to be a Canadian to be involved).

*The CETA member rates requires a paid-up membership for 2016. Membership also includes two issues of the Canadian Theological Review.

General Membership: $40/year
Student Membership: $20/year (for full-time students with current student ID)
